Hi Laura, I like your idea to let the students choose what country or region they would like to learn about. My lesson focused on money around the world. It may be a good idea to allow the students to choose what country's money they would like to study. If I divide the class into groups they could report back with new information for the other groups and more information could be covered in less time.
