- I've been teaching in LAUSD for 30 years, and for the past 2 1/2 years along with teaching have been working on developing a Freshmen Academy at Huntington Park High School. We now are planning on becoming a 21st Century school, with all in coming 9th graders receiving a lap top in July 2011. So I am organizing all our 9th grade academy teachers to get trained in how to teach in a 21st century school and classroom. We are all at various levels of computer and technology literacy. We are all new to the concept of 21st century learning and web 2.0. I don't have a blog, website, IM, twitter account. But would like to learn.
