I just read your comment on Roxanne's blog, and I clicked to see your students interacting with Erika, the scientist with the beauty pageant secret - how cool! I had no idea about the "Secret Life of Scientists" so I checked that out as well. Thanks for the info!

With your work in Instructional Technology for Palm Beach County SD, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Happy New Year! I was wondering if you or your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. We'd really like to get more students involved from Louisiana!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
I agree with the comment in your profile about teaching and learning for the future. Unless we continually work out improving our skills we tend to revert to using the way we were taught at school!
I hope you enjoy CR 2.0.
Cheers,
Gavin
