- I teach the English subjects to a French Immersion grades 5 and 6 split class. I have been teaching this age group for 15 years at the same school, and I love what I do. This semester we are focusing on an art project, where each child is researching a famous artist. Each of them will eventually create a copy of a masterpiece painted by the artists. This will culminate in a clssroom vernissage, when each child will introduce his artist to all of the parents. What fun!
