Yesterday was Sweet Ali's 8th birthday. What a fun day it was... I will never forget the surprised look on her face when she realized she had a real puppy! Needless to say the puppy was quite a hit.
Lauren, We hope that your birthday is bright and beautiful, just like you! Have fun sweetie, we love you!
Yesterday was IT Day at the convention center. It is a day that Marc's students look forward to all year. Marc always seems to be treated like royalty by one of the
Cisco representatives... and this year was no exception. This year the rep. gave him 11 free dinner tickets for his students. Each ticket costs $15.00, so this was quite a treat for the students. If you want to know more about IT Day, you will have to ask Marc, he will be more than happy to tell you about it.
It was such a beautiful day here yesterday. I think it was around 75 degrees outside and just perfect for working in the yard. So I enjoyed getting caught up on some long over due yard work. The weather here has been a little uncooperative lately, so I was more than happy to take advantage of the beautiful day. The first picture is of our dogwood tree in the front yard and the second picture is of some of the irises in the back yard.
We have had some pretty interesting spring weather this year. One minute we will have beautiful sunshine and the next it will be raining like crazy, with horrible gusty winds. So I really haven't had a chance to take any spring pictures. But as I was getting ready to leave this morning, I noticed the quail in the front yard. I couldn't resist getting my camera and taking a couple of pictures. They seem to spend a lot of time by the tree, as do the squirrel and the bunny.
While I had the camera in hand, I decided to take a picture of our crab apple trees. They are not as pretty as they were last week, but I decided to take a picture anyway.
As you can see, the girls had a grand time finding eggs on Easter. It was windy and cool outside so they opted to have the egg hunt indoors.
On our way home from Montana last week, we met Corey and the girls at Coffee Pot Lake for a fun day of fishing. As you can see by the pictures, we had a great day! I didn't do any fishing myself, but was kept extremely busy untangling the girls line. We all had a good time and are looking forward to our next fishing excursion. Sorry you had to work Heather... we missed you.
