Hi. Thank you for giving me an opportunity and making me a part of your classroom. Am a beginner so I guess I will take some time to find my feet and gain ground at the same time. I would like to share something over which I often ponder. Worlwide, crores are being spent on providing education and efforts are being made to meet goals. Still, a vast population remains illiterate and even if children complete primary education numeracy and literacy skills are low.
I have been thinking about a system change. I am not saying this in a vacuum. Recently, the chief advisor of an NGO has also suggested a structural reform as mere monetary allocation will not do. Also, I have read the noted novelist, D.H. Lawrence's views on education recommending the same. I have discussed the same issue in an article which is likely to be published in the very near future.
