About Me: I'm open-minded and curious but admittedly skeptical about the ways Web 2.0 is changing our society. I'm something of an "actual" experience junkie, preferring the real thing to "virtual" replacements or imitations. I was part of a proto-social network about ten years ago and got bored but after attending Steve's recent presentation at an ISACS conference I decided I could try again. I have 12 years of public school teaching experience (7 - 12 science and gifted ed) and 5 years of homeschooling/tutoring in my resume as well. I've crossed to "the other side" and taken my first position in administration. So far, so good.
