- Fourteen years ago, I switched careers from Meeting Planner to Special Education Teacher and have never regretted my decision. In my current position, I oversee the special education programs for students attending non-public special education schools. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cooking, gardening, riding bikes, and reading. We have two grown sons who serve in the Marine Corp and just recently became grandparents to a beautiful little girl.
