Hello! I am a college student from Nebraska, and I am studying to be a secondary English teacher. I am working on expanding my Personal Learning Network to equip me with resources to help me become a better educator. I am curious about how you use technology in your Enriched English class and if you have any advice for an aspiring middle school English teacher!
Patti, I am a 6th grade teacher from New Hampshire and my 6th graders and I are studying various diets from around the world. We have a blog cgagnon@edublogs.org. We are hoping you might be interested in responding to us through our blog. If you could let us know what a typical diet in Montreal consists of, it would be greatly appreciated. If this is something you are not interested in, please feel free to send it along to a colleague. Hope you are ready for the long winter; it is hard to believe it is just around the corner.
With your interest in Online Collaboration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Hi Patty -- I'd like to invite you to join a Classroom 2.0 group called Canadians Mashup. I'm trying to build a network of Canadian educators and bloggers. No discussions yet. I'm just starting out by trying to find where everyone lives and what they teach. If you're interested, please add me as a colleague as well.
BTW -- neither of the links you provided above seems to be working.
