Time for authentic learning!

Hi everyone. I'm a social studies and geography teacher from New Zealand. Web 2.0 technologies have become a big part of what we are doing at my school. However, at this stage I feel it is just 'bells and whistles', I really want to use it to make a difference to learning, make it transformative. This seems like it could be a great place to share resources and ideas, and to discuss pedagogy specific to the social sciences.

Hi Philip,

I am very interested in the work you are doing here and I wonder if you would like to join the NZC 2010 Ning Community so you can make some of you experince and thinking available to others in relation to how you see what you are doing as in the spirit and intent of NZC, 2007? Hope to see you there.

Best wishes.
