I spent over 25 years in business management, and thought I would continue in that direction until my retirement. When my former elementary school principal asked me to teach a class in 2005, I never anticipated it would forever change the plans I had for my future. I found that I actually enjoyed working in a classroom setting. It prompted me to leave the “business world,” and focus on helping children succeed. Three years later I founded a non-profit organization, focused on helping students of all ages through tutoring. Since then, I’ve helped elementary/middle school students, as well as adult students working towards a GED. My future plans are to expand my program, increasing its effectiveness in the community and helping more individuals to become self-sufficient.
