About Me: I have been teaching high school social studies for ten years. I have taught mostly American history and psychology. Currently, I am on leave and at home with my two children. As I look to returning to teaching, I am interested in updating myself on technology and new ways it can be used in the classroom. I have been taking online courses at Eastern Michigan University, at this time, I am in a course called Virtual Worlds and Social Networking. I am really enjoying opening these new doors!

My company develops content for educational publishers. We don't have our own imprint. We work in every subject area. We don't typically work with schools directly. However, I certainly would not be opposed to doing this in the right situation.

Welcome to Classroom 2.0. I actually live in West Bloomfield. It's kind of nice meeting geographical neighbors on here. How did you end up in Ann Arbor? Did you go to U of M?

Social studies is also my primary area of interest. However, I'm now running a company that develops curriculum content for all areas from K-12.
