About Me: Hi!, I'm a grad student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and have heard wonderful things about Classroom 2.0. Over the next few weeks, I intend to browse the site, contribute to the blogs and communicate with some of the members. I look forward to getting to know some of you.

In my experience, I've found sites that are similar in content, but I haven't found anything comparable to the way in which this site has really focused on fostering an effective learning community. I've seen other sites try to do so as a feature of a broader site (i.e., they'd have an interactive area, etc.), but they never seem to reach critical mass in terms of user contributions. While it's different in scope, I think Curriki is an interesting site for user generate curricula.
