I am delivering a podcasting traininng day on Monday so think I need to spend a little time exploring this and trying to set up a presence on iTunes U for my organisation. Also, meant to be taking today off.. the sun is shinning in England.. .. and thats worth stopping for!!
What is iTunes U?

Have a great day in the sun,

Nice to meet you.
Its actually the last thing the JISC wants to do, is to work in isolation. I cover the South East of England, and try to link up with as many other relevant agencies and regional networks as possible to help ensure we deliver an effective support package to the 100 odd institutions we look after in the South East. There is a tremendous amount we could do to help support schools, but we are not yet funded to do so. I agree with you... waiting for the day!!
Having worked for 45 years mainly in Secondary Schools and having recently taken 'early' retirement, I'm keen to develop technologies in schools.
I believe that JISC should not be working in isolation but that if there is to be any 'Interoperability' between sectors it's about time things got sorted!
Best Wishes,
Ray T
