About Me: Hi there my name is Theresa Munoz and I have a Bachelor Degree in Child and Adolescent Studies. I love working with children. What a blessing to be able to connect, empower, and inspire students. I want to be able to instill the love of learning in students. I started out working as a Preschool teacher for four years during my college years and loved it. When I moved to Tucson I started volunteering in my daughters class and was offered a position as a K-3 aide and shortly after that I had the opportunity to switch to Special ED. as a 1:1 paraprosupporting a student in the general Ed Classroom. I have been a Paraprofessional for about 9 years. I just decided to face my fears and go back to school to become a Special Education Teacher. It has been challenging yet so rewarding and I am not giving up. I am going to show grit and persevere just as I encourage my students to do.They are my inspiration!
