- I currently anticipate earning an M.Ed degree from the University of Mary Washington no later than May 2015. My goal is to teach history and social studies at the middle school level. To gain experience in Northern Virginia schools and stay current with school trends, I work as a Substitute Teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia. I have become the primary substitute for several teachers at two very high achieving elementary schools. I believe wholeheartedly in providing an information and knowledge-based literacy experience with a foundation built on culturally relevant teaching and principles of love and logic.
