- I teach 5th grade at Kennedy Elementary School in Medford, Oregon. This will be my 6th year of teaching, having arrived at education after a dozen years working as a Creative Director for a small advertising agency. My background in audio, video and graphic design add to my passion of using technology in the classroom. Some of my goals for this year are to expand my use of video as a means of assessment, along with using GeoCaching and GPS devices as a central component of math, social studies (specifically local history), research, writing, and geography. I would love to collaborate with other teachers who are already implementing similar programs, especially teachers in Oregon.
