I'm one of the founders of Clipmarks. I was recently contacted by a member of Classroom 2.0 about how we could potentially offer our service within the education sector. This is always been an idea that I am very passionate about, so when he suggested that I join this network, I was eager to do so.
I'm very interested in enabling people to create pools of information based on the specific bits they find most interesting ("clipworthy"). Just like sharing things clipped from newspapers or magazines, Clipmarks was created to enable people from any/all parts of the world to share what they clip from the web. I would love to see this applied to classrooms and amongst students as a way to share and organize their findings online.
