I am a Year 4 Teacher at The Peninsula School. My colleagues are a rather diverse group in age and interests but there is a small number of us who are very excited about the opportunities and possibillities of enhancing classrom teaching via Web 2.0.

Hi again Jennyann
Some of my parents were a bit dubious at first re cyber safety but in using the blogmeister blog I have it set so anyone can see the class page and parents have given the okay for photos as long as there are no names attached. The individual pages have t have a class password to be viewed and the class each have a password to post on their own page. I have noticed a greater enthusiasm for writing in class now as the children enjoy have an audience to write for. We don't publish everything but many of the children write at home and lots of them have been experimenting with adding slide shows, clocks etc. Let me know how you go.
Hey Jennyann, welcome from Germany!
I focus on Web 2.0 apps as to education and I run several European school projects as a responsable person. Additionall I created the biggest group on Classroom 2.0: DigiSkills about digital teaching methods with now 190 members!!!
Would love if you decide to join as well:)
I have a Year 4 class in BullCreek Western Australia. I started on my Web 2.0 journey at the beginning of last term and I am amazed at how much I have already learned (along with the class) and how much more there is to learn. Would you be interested in your class being computer buddies with my class?
We started a blogmeister blog last term and are learning so much. Some of my reluctant writers have really enjoyed the opportunity of writing for a purpose - the parents and class mates have posted many encouraging comments. My next step is to try some podcasting.
Looking forward to hearing from you
