I am a "veteran" educator with enough information about technology to know that I know very little. I am a believer in the power of visuals and multimedia in teaching and learning--and yet, I'm a pretty good listener, too.

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!
That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.
Do you mind letting your usual contacts know about it?
Hey Julie,
You are a veteran educator who knows a tremendous amount about technology. You are awesome, girl. So glad to be involved in the EETT grant with you and your group!
Cool thanks, Julie. Still a month to go! Plenty of time to make some sweet vids :] Yeah, we would definitely love to partner up with folks in the future. Keep us in mind if you think of something and of course vicey versa
Hi Julie. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Julie, welcome from Germany! You don´t look like a "veteran": no!!!
Nice to meet you online.
I focus on Web 2.0 apps and care about digital teaching methods in European Schoolprojects.
Would love if you decide to join my group DigiSkills on Classroom 2.0 as well!
Greetings
