About Me: Kyle began his career as a classroom teacher. In that experience he discovered the unquestionable power of collaboration and communication to support a community of learners in his classroom, school and district.

After a short time as a SMART Technologies certified trainer and education consultant, Kyle joined Discovery Education in 2010 to support one of the largest professional learning communities in the world, the Discovery Educator Network (DEN).

Over the past 5 years Kyle has created in-person and web-based professional learning experiences for educators around the world. You’ll often see Kyle in front of a camera hosting Discovery Education’s virtual field-trips. Through this work he has brought students on exclusive experiences to learn about the people and careers inside of companies like The Weather Channel, Google, and The New York Stock Exchange to remote areas like Lowell Observatory, J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and even Churchill, Manitoba known as the Polar Bear Capital of the World.
