The 6th graders at Chichester Central School in Chichester, New Hampshire (USA), would like to invite you to participate in our blog.  We have created a blog, which we hope will allow us to explore varying diets from around the world.  Our goal is to understand what other country’s diets consist of and what they consider to be healthy.  Here in New Hampshire, we eat a lot of seafood and lobsters as we are so close to the Atlantic Ocean.  We also grow and eat fresh corn, apples, strawberries, blueberries and even pumpkins.  If you are interested, please visit our blog at cgagnon@edublogs.org and respond to the “World Diets” page.  If you respond, it would be helpful if you could include which country or area of the world you are responding from.  If you are not interested, it would be much appreciated if you could pass this along to a friend or colleague that may be.

We here in New Hampshire look forward to your response.  Thanks

-Chris Gagnon – 6th grade teacher

Vi här i New Hampshire ser fram emot ditt svar. Tack

Hello Lo!

I've become a new member not too long ago and am very excited about this site. Needless to say as a new member I know no one. May I kindly invite you as a guest to my site (http://ntoond2.ning.com/). Any suggestions or comments you may have on how best to navigate the 2.0 world would be most appreicated.

Also, would you care to share any sayings which are particular to your country on my site? For example, in the US one can say "Waste not, want not" or "Birds of a feather flock together", "A stitch in time saves nine"... and so on.

I'd be most grateful.
Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Hi Lo,
I am from Western Australia and teach 4th Grade. I love books and as a teenager thought I might become a librarian but teaching won over - it still gave me the chance to enjoy books for kids and adults. I have a seventeen year old son who will be spending 2008 in Sweden on Rotary Youth Exchange but I am not sure where he will be staying yet - somewhere near Stockholm I think.
I went to your blog but unfortunately I can't read Swedish. Maybe we can talk some more later. Do you have a skype account?
Bye for now
Jane
