Hi Peg V. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. Perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

One more thing, Peg...I'm starting up a podcast through the We Are Teachers network and I would LOVE to interview you about your use of the iPhone with your students...is that something you'd be interested in?

Wow! Thanks for making friends, Peg. I love your page background here. How did you do that? I have graphic background myself but I can't figure out how to change things here on the Ning template...

Hi Bianca, Just noticed your comment. Well, have just found a student with an iPhone who is willing to do some experimenting. Still in the planning stage but will keep you informed. Progress is slow as my other technology has been limited.. new computer classroom, new server, NO LCD and NO Screen. Cramping my teaching styles. will be in touch!! Peg ; )

Hi again Peg.
I left you a comment on one of your discussion forums and I notice here that you work in Falmouth. Do you work with Matt M at all? I am looking to come by for a visit this Fall and perhaps we can catch up if only for a moment! I'd love to see uses in the classroom with the iPhone as well if you are using it.
I'll check out your website for Cape POD Cast in a bit! Regards!

G'day Peg. Nice to meet you. I'm curious to see how you use the iPhone in your classroom. I'm holding out to get one myself. No word yet on when they'll be coming down under. Have fun with your new "toy"!

Hi Peg... you say that you want "to find new ways to use the technology available to enhance our students' (and we teachers) education as well as becoming more globally connected." That's great and should be every teacher's goal in one way or another. You should definitely check out YouFig.com - it's a useful site for collaborating in academia, between students and between the teacher and the class. I have a few invites left. Let me know if you would like one.
