I used to work for a Wall Street new media agency until I got sick and tired making pretty websites for Fortune 500 firms who wanted to use the Web to sell another shiny widget or happy pill...
The Web's greatest realization is in Education, in its ability to bring together myriad abilities to achieve tasks too large for a single human mind. Why confine it just for Investor relations?!?
So a like-minded friend and I started a firms about a 'year and change' ago that is trying to use web technologies to develop unique solutions for Education. We have conceived a software platform called SCALE.
SCALE allows you to design, develop and deploy administrative applications for your school or district visually in real-time. Why buy a canned SIS when you can build your own? Why use a Library Management System that limits you to the information you can manage. Why are your teachers paying web sites monthly for grade books? For that matter, what's your students' information doing on another site's database anyway?
Contact me and let me send you a PDF of what SCALE does? Or follow the link to my site. It’s not pretty but we hope that it is interesting enough for you to give us a call.
We are about to enter Alpha so I am not interested in making a Sales pitch to you. I would like workflows and processes against which I can test SCALE but at the very least - you're advice and pointers would be greatly appreciated.
