Hacer esta traducción fue un poco más difícil que la primera. Es una traducción de una entrevista con un hablante nativo del español. Por eso, el entrevistado (o en este caso, la entrevistada) usa lenguaje informal y coloquial. El lenguaje coloquial, en mi opinión, es más difícil traducir que el lenguaje formal. Each week we will have food demonstrations on Friday prepared by the students.  Part of the assignment will be to post the recipe on this blog, So that if anyone would like to try the recipe at home they can find it on here. I will also post our weekly plans so if parents wish they can see what we are studying or even try some of the recipes we've created! So, I think that creating a blog for a classroom would be a great idea. This way teachers and parents can communicate online at their convenience. Also, a blog would be a great way to report what is being worked on and covered in class. This would help get the parents involved and even the students.

Hey parents and students! Now that we have spent a week talking about the needs of animals, now we will spend time talking about the basic needs of plants. For example: plants need air, water, and light. We are going to grow some of our very own plants!

Students and Parents!

This is what our first grade class will be learning about for the month of March: Characteristics and Interactions of Living Organisms. We will get the chance to do hands on activities that help us understand more about both plants and animals. In the next posts, parents, be looking for lessons that you can already be working on with their children. This will only help when we talk about these topics in class, if you have already discussed them at home.

Today, I went and visited my school. I am so excited that I will get to be doing my student teaching in Mrs. D's Classroom. Mrs. D teaches 6th Grade Communication, along with 7th and 8th Grade Science! This is so exciting! I have forgotten most of my science (embarrassingly true), so the fact that this is going to make me remember allot more will be SO AWESOME!!!
