Listen! Now I’m talking! is about language and democracy.
48 7th graders have a very concrete mission:
Make up your mind about an opinion that you are passionate
about, something that you think should be changed, be improved, be highlighted
or be banned! You should in words and pictures propagate your opinion and…

Around 25% of Colleges do not see sport as a key priority, even though there is evidence to suggest participation in sport helps with learner engagement, retention, attainment and the profile of the college.
Should there be a budget in place for all colleges, so that they are able to offer a variety of sport for all learners to participate in.......?

What will you take off the curriculum to do it? Nothing ? Should the curriculum teach financial numeracy as part of maths? Helping encourage those who don't engage to get more involved or understand applied financial mathematics. By teaching attitudes to money (e.g., good debt bad debt) within PHSE or within chosen subjects. This could promote economic growth through a better understanding of money and a more entrepreneurial society. We have far to many students graduating with no jobs…

During a series of teaching observations of one teacher I noted he often used humourous anecdotes especially as brain breaks. As part of my Cert Ed writings I am searching for any theorists who believes humour can be an effective part of learning. Any helpful suggestions out there would be most welcome.

I would use social networking to inform students of upcoming assignments and to keep parents up to date with what is going on in the class.

I would use social networking in mu classroom to make a website open to my students and parents. I would use it to put review sheets and other assignments on it. I feel it would keep the parents updated on what was going on in their childrens classroo

i would use social networking to keep parents up to date with what is going on in the classrooms such as what they learns, upcoming events, breaks and activities they could do with their children at home. this would also give the parents an oppritunity to ask an questions or give me any suggestions. mainly, i would use this site as my own "school website" to go to for information and with permission from the parents, post pictures of the students in action for their parents to see them hard…

Sra. Guimarais enseñó eso proceso por…

Last week, in my physics class, I was attempting to motivate my students to do research on alternative energy sources that will help to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere. The emphasis is on replacing the production of electricity from combustion sources like coal or natural gas and favoring wind energy or solar photovoltaic cells.
Each day at the start of class I would mention yet another climate change occurrence that I had read about or heard…

In the physical science classes that I teach at the high school level, I am implementing engineering-based curriculum initative that have really stretched my abilities as an educator.
This has required hours of thought and preparation dating back to the summer planning months when I was able to explore, for myself, fundamental…
