So I just took two little personality tests and I must say it was an interesting experience. Most of the personality tests that I have ever taken have been about what my personality color is or what type of cheese represents my inner being, but I really found these tests very revealing. I've decided to try to find online resources that are working for other Information Specialists. I attended a session at FETC recently and found that I am beginning to find my own PLN through Facebook and Delicious. Now, I am going to try to find other like minded individuals through Twitter, Ning and any other fun places I find myself. I am hoping I will find some new friends and colleagues. I'm ready for the ride!

I took two learning/personality type tests.

The first was a learning type test. I found out that I learn visual/spatially. I would say this is accurate. Typically I like to see how things are done before I can do them. The test also said I learn well with words. I do enjoy writing and believe I have a creative imagination.

Web 2.0 at Sea

This is Day 77 in the Vendee Globe around-the-world race. Skipper Rich Wilson, the only US contestant and the oldest skipper in the competition is in tenth place. Media Arts Film

It was only a few years ago that Westdale got its first digital camera, now we have a fully operational Mac computer lab (30 computers) complete with digital video cameras, editing with Final Cut Pro, plus a full array of software for graphic and web design. The students are energized by the courses and it has infused a validation of all things progressive into the school community.

Snowball, Arkansas...that was an education

I was the First Grade. All by myself. There were thirty-two students in the entire school, grades 1-12. Mrs. Nadine Martin wore a rhinestone pin and matching earrings every day.
