La Reflexión y El Léxico de La Segunda Traducción

Léxico

“acaba pagando”

juerguista

Informe nº12 "Maxwell Immersion School"

Blogging in the classroom

So, I think that creating a blog for a classroom would be a great idea. This way teachers and parents can communicate online at their convenience. Also, a blog would be a great way to report what is being worked on and covered in class. This would help get the parents involved and even the students.

Second Week of March Lesson: Identifying the Needs of Plants

Hey parents and students! Now that we have spent a week talking about the needs of animals, now we will spend time talking about the basic needs of plants. For example: plants need air, water, and light. We are going to grow some of our very own plants!

First Week of March Lesson: Needs of Animals

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf0OZIsRJ0E Here is a silly little youtube video about an animal that is trying to find something to eat. Even though it's a silly video, try to strike a conversation with your child about how the animal has to find food for himself so that he doesn't go hungry. Go over the basic needs of most animals: air, water, food, shelter. In class we will do a fun activity with learning the basic needs of most…

Ms. Luallin's First Grade Science Lesson

Students and Parents!

This is what our first grade class will be learning about for the month of March: Characteristics and Interactions of Living Organisms. We will get the chance to do hands on activities that help us understand more about both plants and animals. In the next posts, parents, be looking for lessons that you can already be working on with their children. This will only help when we talk about these topics in class, if you have already discussed them at home.

Placement as a Student Teacher.

Today, I went and visited my school. I am so excited that I will get to be doing my student teaching in Mrs. D's Classroom. Mrs. D teaches 6th Grade Communication, along with 7th and 8th Grade Science! This is so exciting! I have forgotten most of my science (embarrassingly true), so the fact that this is going to make me remember allot more will be SO AWESOME!!!

I noticed the watchful guidance of the teachers, and the staff as I walked up to the office - this tells me that although…

Parent Correspondence

I would like to use this blog to communicate with parents the different events going on in my classroom.  One potential blog might be information about an upcoming field trip.  All of the parents connected to my blog could have a look at my original post and then have the opportunity to post their own questions.  I think some parents might feel more comfortable with this type of communication than coming into the school.  In any situation, I want to keep the parents informed about what their…

Class Information!

So I think that this is a great way to communicate with parents and other teachers. Expressing thoughts and feeling about things happening in the class room. Post to can be made to let parents know what is going on throughout the year, and the parents could even post there own activities or ideas they do at home for the kids!
