I found that using Excel instead of Word to create the character poster was much easier. With word, if everything isn't in a straight line, it's hard to manipulate the pictures, text boxes, word art, etc. With Excel, there's no worry about trying to change the formatting of the picture so that you can get it just how you want it. It was very easy to insert the picture, and move it to whenever you want and then insert text boxes over the picture. I…

The character poster is something neat that can be used in the classroom. Not only can character posters be made, but other things can be made as well that can be posted in a classroom.
