I like the fact that anybody can publish things on the internet for all to see. Sites like flickr and utube allow people to post and comment on some crazy and often amazing things....maybe more often crazy. I have used utube to learn how to play the banjo but finding exactly what I want is not easy. That we have to filter through what is good and bad or interesting to us can take a lot of time. Ok. This is might sound lame, and it won’t take you more than two seconds to guess that I am an English teacher. Today, my classes took a day away from the computers to do research. We actually used those bound paper piles in the library known as books.
