This one is an old one but a great one. I use Jeopardy Powerpoint in my classroom all the time. It's really simple and great for a review. I put students into pairs and ask them to play against each other keeping score. Then I email the Jeopardy game to them. I've been teaching Prezi, the presentation software to my students in Grades 8 - 12. I have also been teaching it to my fellow colleagues. And this is what I've been handing out to them to help them get started. The presentation program is fun, excellent for concept mapping as well as just plain image mapping. Thinking of teaching Facebook to my Grade 10 students in my Information Technology class this coming year. It's not a "if you can't beat them, join them" idea. It's more of I need to teach them the safety of the Internet and with Facebook always being used (inside school and outside if we're all truthful about this), then we need to think about teaching the students about the new privacy setting that been created on it.
