Internet Safety

I am about to embark on creating an Internet Safety curriculum for grades 1 through 6. I am going to hit on topics dealing mostly with cyberspace; keeping your personal identification safe, choosing passwords and usernames, bullying. I am also going to be dealing with the parents. I am planning on having a "tea/coffee time" set up maybe once or twice a month to introduce web tools to them. How to talk to their children about Internet safety, etc.

Humorous Learning Experience

I am learning and rushing and trying to beat the clock to get things done each day but this is too funny. Instead of slowing down and finding resources' names who I am reflecting about, I have failed, thinking, "Who in the world will look at me, my page, my thoughts, my blog?" Views on wikis and blogs

I was just reading someone's blog on wanting to know misconceptions on wikis and blogs. I have had many people confused about the two tools. A lady named Sylvia really summed it up well. Overwhelmed



I am having these huge desires to implement too many new web 2.0 tools and have no classroom of my own. It makes me miss being the classroom teacher. Here is what I am envisioning for the school 08-09.
