Social networks like Facebook and MySpace have reputations as time-sucking procrastination tools, but a new study from the University of Minnesota says au contraire.

Social networks build beneficial technological, creative, and communication skills, the study says, leading the researchers to actually describe social networks with the adjective "educational." Who knew?

Three Things I'm Itching to Talk About

It's only mid-June and I have already attended an international train-the-trainer event (held in the U.S.), presented at a tech conference, and am eagerly anticipating my state's big tech conference next week. Where Are We Running Now?

Getting technology into the hands of all students

I have spent many hours trying to develop my technology skills to enhance my abilities as a teacher.
