What a day - I wanted to put another video on dotsub, but I also wanted to convert a powerpoint to a video. About 3 years ago Hachoresh Elementary School adopted a unique local landmark, The Maish Cave, which gets its name from a tree which grows through a "chimney" in the cave roof.

Well, it's been a while. But, BOY has it been a busy summer! I've finished two of the classes I've been teaching for the college and have two more that finish this week. Paperwork.....gotta love it, right??? I have this week and then part of next in the Teaching and Learning Center for the college and then, I'm off to prepare for the grade school. Interesting. How can it be that myspace is seen as an important feature of current political campaigns in Australia, yet the same politicians endorse the banning or blocking of access to such tools/sites in educational institutions nationwide?

Have any of you visited the web site of Blogathon 2007 at http://www.blogathon.org/ ? More than 500 bloggers have signed up for a 24 hour marithon to raise money for their favorite charities. I just learned about this so I'm not included, but I'm going to follow this and see how the idea might apply to the work we all do of helping kids connect with technology, elearning, mentoring and expanded adult support.
