California College San Diego Launches Program to Assist Prospective Students in Earning GED

California College San Diego announced today the launch of its complimentary GED Test tutoring program. The tutoring program is offered at no cost and is designed to help bring enrollees without a diploma a step closer to their dream jobs, by helping them earn the GED credential required to start college.

Are Non-verbal Cues all that important?

Last week the Wall Street Journal (www.wsj.com - Mark Bauerlein) had an article about Gen Y not being able to "read" each other. Getting Away from the “Traditional Test” Format

Most teachers like to use multiple choice, T/F, and matching on tests. It may be easier for teachers to create; however, this does not really tell us if students really understood the concepts. Most look for answers that student have seen in the same section in their text/notes. The T/F questions leave students with a 50% chance of getting it right or wrong.
