My class went to Gedi ruins , Malindi, Kenya. Unfortunately due to forseen circunstances I could not make it. I had the great opportunity of going through my students' journals. Wow! Those kids wrote such interesting pieces. The information was detailed and their illustrations were so cute!
I will urge them to share their work on this blog if possible!

While I don't have the greatest desire to do grading - I do like seeing the thinking process of students - the inner workings as it were. I was always fascinated by the big picture so cogs and wheels and remember my first understanding of what a cog was - it was from Mr. Cogswell of the Jetson's cartoon show
