Using cues, questions, and advance organizers

I am a teacher at a middle school. This is my second year of teaching a class of 8th grade struggling readers. I realize that I will probably be their last reading teacher. They will be on their own next year in high school. I am wanting to learn as much as possible about using cues, questions, and advance organizers so I can be as effective as possible for these students. NETBOOK TIME

Well, as all of you in Victoria probably already know, 1:1 computing is here, in the form of the government's Netbook trial. My school happens to be one of the 300 and something that have been chosen to participate and as the head of IT in the school I can honestly say I am excited, to say the least.
