Happy summer everyone! Public schools are out and the summer has really kicked in. Some of you may be on vacation, and some may be involved with summer camps and summer schools. It never hurts to combine fun and relaxation with creative and productive learning. I'm reminded again today how much I love the first day of summer. Not that I get a summer break - as the technology coordinator, the summer is when I do all the maintenance work that I don't get to during the school year. Summer is a Time for New Ideas

Although many of us enjoy taking time to relax and recharge, this is also a good time to reconnect with old Classroom 2.0 friends and to make new ones. This is when I have the space to think about ways to change/update curriculum in meaningful ways for my 3rd graders.
