I came across a blog and the teachers had each student type in a English word then it showed up in Japanese. I think this would be fun and we could get the mobile lab in our rooms to do this. Search: Yahoo and type in Japanese online dictionary and you will find many websites that can translate from English to Japanese for you.

I am so excited about this one, the class is going on a journey to Japan and find out how Japanese children live. We will become a Japanese child, choose a Japanese name, and tell each other about our family, our school, and our favorite things to do.
