Yes, I must admit it. The deeper I go into e-learning, the more interested I become in this phenomenon; a perfect combination of two of my major interests: education and technology. I love teaching and I think I’ve been interested in technological stuff ever since I got my first watch.
As soon as the personal computer became an affordable item, I started to search for ways in which I could use it as a tool to enrich and widen my teaching practice. So applying information technology to the field of education seems to me to be one of the most motivating enterprises that a modern teacher might get involved in.
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years now and I’ve been involved in e-learning for the last couple of years. After such a long time of sticking to books, chalk and blackboard, but always keeping an eye open to changes, I really appreciate the blow of new, fresh air that IT has brought to my profession.
In joining this blogging community, I hope to get acquainted and make friends with other teachers who share my own interests. So I’d like to thank the founders of this site for the new window they open overviewing a new horizon for educators.
