As I think about the year, my heart begins to tear.
The kids have grown, their knowledge shown.
In the technology projects that they do, we all stand up and say yahoo.
A job well done, their victory was won.

This year I was blessed and put to the test.
But I've passed and can say at last
Come August, we'll make learning a blast.

This year I knew would be no easy task, first of all I taught 2 grade levels 4 core subjects. Add to that the technology availability but yet no knowledge of any of it. We have polycom, greenscreen, MacBook Pro's (me I've lived in a PC world) and other gadgets I can't begin to name. Learning was the game, in a project created world, no longer set by textbooks and tests. My world was freed from the traditional classroom and yet thrown into the unknown I was in fear.

I'm proud of myself as I can work with the freeware I've been shown, I twitter and skype without much hype. Others enjoy hearing my kids talk about their learning, their technology expertise willingly shared with others who desire it. I know that I've been a part of what inspired it.

I'm looking for virtual lesson sharing next year . . . . Help is a welcome word I'll say and sharing is the game I like to play. Come share with me.
