Thanks to Classroom 2.0, I added Voicethread to my list of options in creating Mother's Day greetings this year. Students drew an image in Kid Pix, saved it as a jpeg and put it into the shared folder. Then we put the images into voicethread and each child recorded a mother's day greeting. Mothers were given the URL to the voicethread and invited to comment on their child's work. To include a sample of the voicethread file here, I've used iShowU
Fourth grade students created their greetings in Scratch and posted them on the Scratch website for their mom's to see.
