I have spent many hours trying to develop my technology skills to enhance my abilities as a teacher. However, it always seems to be a problem actually implementing the technology into my assignments due to the fact I have several students who still do not have access to the technology outside of the classroom. This is often a reflection of the students economical status within the community and creates a myriad of other issues for me to deal with. It affects the students self-esteem, the students social role within school, and often creates greater apathy towards education in general.
