What did you learn on your school holidays?

This month's Active Learning Carnival asks "What did you learn on your school holidays?"

I've been thinking about the effects of organized, indoor activities replacing children's outdoor play because of an ad on my television for summer school and because of a presentation I attended on increasing childhood obesity. What do you think?
