Not easy to do

I have been trying multiple avenues to connect with people from around the world. I have not been successful yet. I am new to this though. What I would like to do is have conversations with people from around the globe and I would like my students to do this as well. As I began to travel outside of Pittsburgh, I found young people from around the globe who are travelling, working, and experiencing the world. I would have never done this as a young adult and I wish that I would have. The students in my school are no different. Many of them have not been outside of their town. They only know Pittsburgh and their own surroundings. I have had conversations with students telling them how small the world has become and that they can live almost anywhere they want to these days. That is only conversations. I believe that if they had the opportunity to explore and talk with others from around the world they will learn of the opportunites they have.
