As this is my first post, I'll start small. Really small.

As an avowed technophobe, I haven't really messed around too much with the latest, greatest technology. I've always been afraid I'd mess something up and be unable to get back to where I was before.

OK, so I'm trying to overcome that fear, and I'm starting here. A friend forwarded the Microsoft Image Resizer info to me--specifically so I could make better use of the photos taken during my trip to the Midwest this past summer (shown here). I went east to play music. Some of the documentary evidence is detailed here. (I actually even held an audience for a little while.)

I used the resizer to help get these photos posted in less than the month it usually takes my wheezing computer to do the work--turns out 32K is a lot easier to work with than 4MB. Who knew?

Let me know what you think. If you have suggestions for how I might do this even more easily (or more effectively), I'm all ears. And shoes.

Be well.

Loren... I wish I could give you some techno suggestions, but I am in the same technophobe boat as you (as seems as though were both getting better though). I was just going to ask you what kind of music you play.

Truly awesome photos, Loren. What digital editor do you use?

I just used the Microsoft digital resizer. It's the free widget available on MS's web site. Emphasis on "free." : )
