It has been a gorgeous day in eastern oregon, about 60 with beautiful blue skies and no wind. Probably one of our last for a great while. (too bad I had to spend the day inside) Looking forward to the annual Hermiston- Pendleton Football game on Friday night here in town. Halloween, Play-Offs on the line and the biggest rivialry there is aside from U of O and OSU, it should be a great night. WIth all of that going on you'd think that I didn't have anyting else to do. But I do .... Does anyone have an easy way to manage laptop check outs from the library? The other day a teacher checked out our mobile lab for the week. When I went into the Problem Solving room, way away from from this teachers room and there were a stack of 6 laptops just sitting on a counter. Anyone could have walked off with them or they could have been damaged. Off all the things about being a Media Specialist and Librarian, its; the mobile lab that makes me the most nuts. Pieces get lost. people borrow from the lab without checkin them out, ie take them from another teacher but not notify me. Is this normal? It's making me nuts. I'm game for any suggestions that anyone has. Maybe there is something you can think of that I haven't tried yet.
