As the school turns....

As the class of 2007 exits and 2011 enters, we as high school teachers have much to reflect on. Though I am only in my second year of teaching, I often wonder if I have prepared my students well enough for life outside of the classroom. Teaching in a high school is much like being in high school, minus the carefree lifestly and lack of financial obligation. As each year passes and each class exits, another chapter ends. After teaching for six years, I work to do my best every day and I think that's all I can do...Hopefully, this year will be as successful for our students as it is for us.

Also, I hope you enjoyed the conference in Columbus. I know I learned a lot!
