Hi,
I'm interested in working with a 2.o application that will allow me to mark historical and geographical sites on a map, that will provide GPS coordinates, and allow some space for text and possibly a picture. I'd like to be able to save maps, put them onto another website or link to them and to paste them into Word so they can be printed. Can anyone steer to a site that will do all of this?

Thanks,
Richard

I think there is a way to do this with Google Maps. Please keep me posted when you find out how to do this, b/c Lisa and I would love to use this application with our class.

Google Maps is awesome. I have mapped my family's road trip complete with links to the hotels, attractions, and even turnpike websites. It all connects to Google Earth which does the satellite GPS thing. Hope that helps!

BTW - I am also an elementary teacher looking to meet other 2.0 teachers.
