Out of my Comfort Zone- NECC 2007

So I sitting here- eating a sandwich at NEC 2007 and the conference is beginning to wind down. I’m reflecting on how I enjoyed this conference and I'm beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed. This is a strange feeling for me because I'm usually very secure and comfortable a events like this. I KNOW WHAT I KNOW!!

Enter Web 2.0, now I'm not so comfortable anymore. There's so much happening in terms of new technologies, collaboration, and ways to engage students. I'm just not comfortable wit it all!! However I'm pretty excited.


Thank god for Janice Stearns, she's really my 2.0 Guru, and without her I'd be even more lost and hopeless.

OK, maybe I'm not that bad, I am posting to a blog. I am a member of classroom 2.0 and I just got a twitter account. I'll get there eventually . . . . hold on a second - there is no there. There will never be a there because unlike any other thing in the realm of technology 2.0 is evolving on a daily basis. Unlike things in the past you don't just learn it and you're done. you're always learning it and that's great.
